Position Overview

As a Biological Holistic Health Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in our clients’ transformative journey by recommending solutions to achieve their health goals. You will work closely with varied lab analyses and recommend coaching programs, services, supplement protocols, and lifestyle changes to improve their quality of life and achieve their health goals. 

Key Responsibilities

Client Assessment: Conduct virtual comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being to understand their unique needs, challenges and health goals.

Personalized Health Plans: Create and recommend individualized holistic health plans that may include lab testing, practitioner visits, health programs, supplementation, nutrition, exercise, stress management, mindfulness and other lifestyle adjustments to achieve clients’ health goals.

Education and Guidance: Provide clients with information, guidance, and resources to help them make informed decisions about their health and wellness.

Lab Interpretation: Provide clients with an interpretation of their various labs that may include functional blood, organic acids, toxins, gut health, and genetics.

Lifestyle Coaching: Assist clients in making positive lifestyle changes, including stress reduction, sleep improvement, and exercise.

Support and Accountability: Provide support and encouragement to clients thru email, text, phone, or during virtual visits holding them accountable for their goals and progress.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and health plans using our web based EMR system.

Ongoing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in holistic health practices and incorporate this knowledge into your coaching.

Virtual Conduct: Present yourself in a professional manner that includes appropriate language, attire, background, video and audio quality, and lighting for virtual sessions.

Collaboration: Attend mandatory practitioner and business meetings, and collaborate effectively with other practitioners within the team.

Qualifications

Certification as a Doctor, Nurse, or Holistic Health Coach Practitioner from a recognized program or organization.

At least 3 years previous experience in functional medicine, holistic medicine, naturopathic medicine, health coaching or a related field. 

Knowledge of holistic health principles, biology, nutrition, and wellness practices

Understanding of holistic approaches to physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Previous experience using the SOAP note format

Proficiency in using digital tools, electronic health records (EHRs), and other online tools for managing and conducting virtual practitioner sessions. We use Practice Better as our EHR.

Experience with supplementation protocols.

Experience with recommending and interpreting labs such as functional blood, organic acids, heavy metal toxins, environmental non-metal toxins

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Empathetic, compassionate, and patient with a strong desire to help others

Knowledge of holistic health principles, nutrition, and wellness practices.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

The ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

This position plays a crucial role in providing excellent client service and ensuring the smooth operation of the business, as they are the point of contact for clients and health coach practitioners' calendars.

Familiarity with Practice Better EHR (Electronic Health Record) software is highly desirable. Former CNA or CMA certified individuals seeking to transition to a more administrative role are encouraged to apply.

Modern Holistic Health specializes in holistic health, using laboratory tests to uncover the root causes of symptoms, conditions, or diseases. Familiarity with holistic health is favorable.

Position Summary:

The Front Desk Manager performs administrative, scheduling, and transactional tasks that facilitate a smooth, professional, and comfortable flow of client care, from initial contact and intake forms through scheduling follow-up and checkouts after client visits with our practitioner team.

Essential Functions:

  • Client Communication: Communicate warmly and professionally with clients and potential clients through email and phone. Provide clear and concise instructions regarding appointment details, procedures, and necessary preparations. Follow up with existing clients in health programs for feedback, scheduling, and support.
  • Client Recall: Follow up with prior clients to schedule appointments.
  • Client Intake: Ensure all client intake forms are completed before client visits. Communicate with clients if forms are incomplete to complete necessary forms, and assist with completing required forms if needed.
  • Payment Collection: Accurately collect client payments, process payments through the appropriate channels, and provide receipts as needed.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule client appointments efficiently, ensure appropriate time and resource allocation, and confirm appointments as necessary.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, filing paperwork, and maintaining client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and Modern Holistic Health procedures.
  • Maintaining Organization: Ensure files, documents, SOP’s, and other digital documents are appropriately organized throughout the day.
