Jessica came to us a few years ago when she was 50. She’d been a federal employee—someone with a solid career and years ahead of her—but she’d been forced to retire on disability years before she should have had to stop working.
She had rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease that was systematically destroying her joints. On top of that, she was battling fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, daily migraines, chronic stomach pain, and severe pain throughout her entire body. Every. Single. Day.
By the time she found us, she’d been living this way for years. Fifteen years of migraines and almost 15 years of rheumatoid arthritis ravaging her body. She was desperate—not just for some relief, but for real answers. She needed to understand why. Why was all of this happening to her?
When Jessica came to see us, almost everything on her symptom sheet was rated a 10—the most severe on our scale.
She lived in constant, unrelenting physical pain. The combination of fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis made every single day absolutely brutal—there wasn’t a part of her body that didn’t hurt. But that was just the beginning. She was also battling:
The pain had become so debilitating and all-consuming that she was eventually forced to retire early. She simply couldn’t physically show up to work every day and function like a normal person anymore. Her body wouldn’t allow it.
Understandably, she was desperate for answers when she came to us. She’d been dealing with all of this for 15 years—seeing doctors, taking medications, trying treatments—with no real resolution. She needed to understand why this was happening to her.450
First, we did comprehensive lab work with Jessica, and what we found explained everything.
Her results revealed significant mold toxicity, and when we looked at the list of symptoms known to be associated with mold toxins, Jessica had every single one. The joint pain. The chronic fatigue. The sleep issues. The gut-related symptoms. The brain fog. The systemic inflammation. The major food sensitivities. The cognitive decline and memory issues. We could tie all of that to the different molds we found in Jessica’s body.
But that wasn’t all. We also looked for chemical toxins, and she had a very long list of them—some at very high levels. Her glyphosate was in the extreme range. She also had parabens in the extreme range.
These toxic loads combined were creating the perfect storm in her system, overwhelming every major pathway her body relies on to heal, detoxify, think clearly, and keep inflammation under control.
After testing for toxins, we tested for food sensitivities.
We did tests called the Wheat Zoomer and the Gut Zoomer to look specifically at what was going on in her gut. Why? Because when someone has this many symptoms, you can’t just look at what they’re reacting to on the surface. You have to figure out why the immune system is reacting in the first place.
These tests allowed us to see whether there was intestinal permeability, whether the gut lining was damaged, whether gluten or other proteins were triggering an immune response, and whether her microbiome was imbalanced in a way that would keep her body stuck in inflammation mode.
What we found was striking: Jessica had extreme reactions to wheat. Although she was already mostly gluten free, we found that Jessica was one of many people who simply cannot tolerate gluten, even in small amounts.

And Jessica had extreme reactions to not just wheat and gluten, but also to lectin and dairy, which told us her gut lining was already inflamed and her immune system was on high alert.
When the gut is compromised, even foods that are normally well tolerated can trigger symptoms. And in her case, these reactions weren’t mild. They were the kind that keep the immune system firing nonstop, driving more inflammation, worsening digestion, disrupting hormones, and making her entire system more reactive over time.
Once we had the right data, our team helped her modify her diet and take out all the foods that were contributing to her inflammation.
Once we started pulling out those trigger foods in the first and second months, the shift we saw was dramatic.
The difference between month one and month two was remarkable. In the first month, almost everything sat at a 10—maxed out across the board. Then things started dropping fast. Her bloating plummeted from a 10 to a 2 just from cutting out inflammatory foods. Stomach pain dropped from a 10 to a 5. Headaches significantly improved in 30 days. The back pain, relentless body aches, bone-deep fatigue—all of it started easing simply because we’d identified and removed what her body couldn’t handle.
That detailed information from the testing? It was everything. It gave us the foundation we needed to build Jessica’s personalized healing plan. With that in place, we moved on to the next critical phase: detoxing the mold and chemical toxins that had been poisoning her system.
Over the next year, Jessica’s body transformed. One by one, her symptoms dropped into the green zone. Most of what had been 8s, 9s, and 10s were now sitting at zeros, ones, and twos. She dropped 43 pounds without restrictive dieting or calorie counting. The chronic inflammation that had been ravaging her body finally calmed down. And now? But here’s the best part. Jessica had been on some heavy-duty medications for her rheumatoid arthritis.
