The Heart's Return

The Heart's Return

Sunday, September 27 – Thursday, October 1, 2026

Heber City, Utah

A Community Built On Connection, Belonging, and Friendships With Authentic Heart-Centered Humans.

The Heart's Return

No Agenda. No Mastermind. Just Come Play.

You’ve been personally invited to join a carefully curated group of incredible people for five unforgettable days immersed in the beauty of the mountains, filled with connection, adventure, great conversations, and play.

Success is built by knowing when to push forward and when to step away, play, and let the next possibility reveal itself.

Imagine five days where nobody needs anything from you.

Mornings surrounded by the fall colors that fill the mountains. Horses. Fly fishing. Incredible food. Long dinners with fascinating people. Conversations that begin around the table and somehow continue hours later beside the fire. Old friends seen in an entirely new way, and new people you have a feeling won’t stay strangers for long.

No stage to take. No presentation to prepare. No reason to impress anyone.

Just a thoughtfully curated experience in nature with people who value many of the same things you do: meaningful connection, curiosity, health, personal growth, new experiences, and a life that still leaves room for wonder.

The Heart’s Return was named for exactly this. A return to the things that matter but are so easy to lose when life gets full: meaningful connection, time in nature, new experiences, great conversations, play, and the freedom to simply enjoy where you are and who you’re with.

There is something special about being able to arrive, settle in, and let the next few days unfold. And something even more interesting happens when heart-centered people are there with you.

Want to experience it together? Your spouse or partner is welcome to join you.

Come see what unfolds.

You’re receiving this invitation because someone genuinely wants you there. We hope you’ll join us.

So, What Are We Doing?

Great people. Beautiful surroundings. A few adventures. Really good food. Plenty of room for spontaneity. Sometimes that’s all the itinerary you need.

Honestly, a little bit of everything.

You might start your morning with meditation and breathwork, spend the afternoon on horseback riding through the Uinta National Forest or learning to fly fish, then come home to an incredible dinner before DJ SubSoniq takes over and everyone ends up dancing under the stars (Costumes optional!)

There will be fires and long dinners, time in nature, beautiful food, unexpected conversations, a few experiences that might stretch the way you see the world, and plenty of time to simply hang out with some really amazing people.

And because nobody wants to leave one overly scheduled life just to arrive at an overly scheduled retreat, there will be space built into the experience too. Sleep a little later. Grab a coffee. Take a walk. Sit outside. Wander into Park City. Join everything or take an afternoon for yourself.

This isn’t about fitting everything in. It’s about having five days where you get to choose what sounds good.

THE PEOPLE

Good People Make Everything Better

The Heart’s Return is intentionally bringing together people who are curious, open minded, heart centered, and genuinely enjoy life.

People who value health, nature, meaningful connection, new experiences, great conversations, and being around others who bring something interesting to the table.

Come as you are. That’s kind of the point.

THE PLACE

There’s Something About the Mountains

Fresh air. Fall colors. Open skies. Rivers, forests, fires at night, and enough distance from everyday life to actually feel like you’ve gone somewhere.

Whether you’re riding through the Uintas, standing in a river with a fly rod, or drinking your morning coffee outside, nature is going to be a big part of these five days.

Sometimes a change of scenery changes everything.

THE EXPERIENCE

Follow What Sounds Fun.

Some things are planned. Some things will happen because they sound fun in the moment.

There will be adventures, incredible meals, music, dancing, meditation, conversations, time outside, and plenty of room to do absolutely nothing.

Choose what calls to you.

Skip what doesn’t.

This is your time too.

The Days Are Yours

There’s plenty to experience, but nowhere you have to be every minute. Follow your curiosity, join what sounds fun, and leave enough room for the moments nobody planned.

Where the Mountains Take Over

There’s something about waking up in the mountains that immediately changes the pace of the day. Crisp air, fall colors, towering pines, open skies, and coffee that somehow tastes better when you’re drinking it outside. The Uintas will be our playground for the week, whether you’re exploring on horseback, standing in a river learning to fly fish, taking a walk, or simply finding a beautiful spot and staying awhile. No rush. You’re on mountain time.

Sleep In. Seriously.

Imagine waking up and realizing nobody needs anything from you. No breakfast meeting. No early Zoom. No schedule you’re already behind on. Grab some coffee, find a quiet spot outside, join a morning meditation or breathwork session, or stay in bed a little longer because it feels good. The day will still be there when you’re ready for it.

Eat Really Well

No wellness retreat food that leaves you wondering where dinner went. Beautiful meals, fresh ingredients, long tables, good wine if you want it, and the kind of dinners where nobody notices how late it’s gotten. Come hungry.

Stay up past your bedtime

Stay Up Past Your Bedtime At some point DJ SubSonic takes over. Music. Mountains. Stars. Dancing. Maybe costumes. We’ll see where the night goes. Leave Room for the Unexpected Some things are worth planning. Others are better when they just happen. A conversation you didn't expect. A spontaneous afternoon. Someone suggesting an adventure and everyone saying yes. Sitting around the fire much later than you intended because nobody wants to leave. Those may end up being the best parts.

The Fabric of Our Time Together

Everything in this sanctuary is intentionally designed to support your unspooling, allowing you to return to your natural rhythm.

Where the Mountains Hold You

There is something deeply restorative about being held by the mountains. Here, surrounded by towering pines, whispering aspens, wildflowers, and expansive alpine skies, the pace of life naturally begins to soften.

You wake to birdsong, breathe crisp mountain air, sip tea as the morning sun kisses the peaks, and remember what it feels like to simply exhale.

In this sacred landscape, nature becomes medicine. The forest quiets the mind. The mountains steady the heart. Every walk, every sunrise, every gentle breeze invites your nervous system to settle into its natural rhythm. There is nothing to chase and nowhere else to be.

Deep Rest & Nurturing

Imagine a few days where no one needs anything from you.

No schedules to keep. No meals to prepare. No decisions to make. Just the gentle rhythm of mountain mornings, nourishing meals, meaningful conversation, quiet moments in nature, and spacious time to simply breathe.

This is your invitation to set down the weight you've been carrying, not because you have to be strong for everyone else, but because, for a little while, you don't have to carry anything at all. Here, you'll be lovingly cared for, deeply nourished, and given permission to soften, receive, and simply rest.

Like bees returning to the warmth of the hive after gathering from the fields, you'll be held in a circle of kindness and gentle presence, where your body can exhale, your heart can soften, and your spirit can be nourished by the sweetness of simply being.

Nourishing Food

There is a sweetness that can only be found around a shared table.

Every meal is lovingly prepared as a celebration of the Earth's abundance. We honor food as far more than fuel for the body, it is living energy, vibration, nature's medicine, and a sacred expression of love that nourishes the body, awakens the heart, and feeds the soul.

With every colorful plate, we remember our connection to the Earth and her natural rhythms. Like bees gathering nectar from wildflowers, we receive her gifts with gratitude, discovering that the sweetest nourishment is found in beauty, presence, and the abundance of simply being alive.

Authentic Connection

There is a quiet magic that unfolds when women gather with open hearts.

Without expectations, roles, or the need to have all the answers, something beautiful begins to emerge. We listen deeply. We laugh freely. We honor one another's stories. Around the evening fire beneath a sky filled with stars, we remember that we are woven from the same stardust as the mountains, the trees, and one another.

Like bees returning to the hive, each woman brings her own unique gifts, wisdom, and sweetness. Together, we create something none of us could create alone, a circle of sisterhood woven through kindness, presence, and love that continues to nourish long after the retreat has ended.

Meet Some of the People Joining Us

Elena Villanueva & Greg Platz

Greg and I are doing what we love most: Bringing great people together, old friends and new, and creating an experience filled with many of our favorite things.

Mountains, nature, horses, incredible food, new adventures, fascinating conversations, a little mystery, time to dance, play, and rest… and plenty of time to simply enjoy one another.

We’re opening our world to some of our favorite people, introducing friends who may not know each other yet, and seeing what happens when everyone finally has time to slow down, reconnect, and play.

Tom & Jill Moorcroft

Tom and Jill are two of those people you simply want around. Tom is a physician, educator, meditation and breathwork guide who also has another identity you’ll get to meet in Utah: DJ SubSonic.

Jill is his quieter counterpart, deeply intuitive, grounded, and carrying a presence that doesn’t need to announce itself to be felt. Together, they bring this wonderful combination of depth, curiosity, playfulness, music, and just enough mystery to keep things interesting.

One morning Tom may be guiding breathwork, and later that night DJ SubSonic may have everyone dancing under the stars.

That pretty much tells you everything you need to know.

William Henry

If you’ve never spent an evening talking with William, you’re in for a treat.

He’s an author, investigative mythologist, international speaker, and familiar face to Gaia audiences who has spent decades exploring ancient civilizations, sacred symbolism, human consciousness, and some of life’s greatest mysteries.

But beyond all of that, William is warm, funny, endlessly curious, and an incredible storyteller. Conversations with him have a way of going down rabbit holes you never saw coming, which is exactly why he’s so much fun to have around.

Julie Belfor

Julie is one of those friends who brings warmth, curiosity, creativity, and fun wherever she goes.

Julie has a fascinating background in plant medicine, sacred plants, ancient traditions, and the emerging science surrounding them, but what we love most about Julie is simply Julie. She can take a conversation somewhere deep and meaningful one minute and have everyone laughing the next.

She has a beautiful way of making people feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves.

Greg and I created The Heart’s Return because we wanted more of this in our own lives too. More time with people we genuinely enjoy. More adventures. More dinners that go too late. More reasons to get outside, try something new, laugh, dance, travel, and make memories with people we want to keep doing life with.

So this really is that simple.

We’re getting some amazing friends together in the mountains for five days, and we’d love for you to be one of them.
